About 56 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This cafe is located in Uruma City, central Okinawa Island. The colorful sodas served in Ryukyu glasses are beautiful! The meal menu also includes omelet rice and curry using Uruma City’s Kugani eggs, which will satisfy both your stomach and your mind!

Point 1: Just before the underwater road! What is the location of Umi Cafe Urutama?

Umi Cafe Urutama is located in Uruma City on the east coast (Pacific Ocean side) of central Okinawa Island.

It is on the way to the “Underwater Road” that goes to the remote islands connected by a bridge between four islands, and the ruins of Katsuren Castle are nearby.

Uruma City on the east coast can be reached from Naha Airport in 56 minutes by car via the Okinawa Expressway, but it is a little more difficult to reach by bus because it takes about 2 hours with one transfer.

From Naha Airport, take Ryukyu Bus No. 152 bound for Naha Airport International Terminal, get off at AEON Okinawa Lycoming, walk 5 minutes to Higa Nishihara, take Okinawa Bus No. 27 bound for Yakeina Bus Terminal, and get off at Teruma.

After that, the walk takes about 18 minutes to reach Umi Cafe Uruma, so it is not as difficult to get there by bus as you might think.

The bus runs inland on the Okinawa Expressway until it reaches the middle of Uruma City, but once it reaches the Katsuren Peninsula, it runs along the sea, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea!

The restaurant is located on the second floor and has a large seaside window from which you can view the ocean from the seating area.

Also, you can enjoy the relaxing sofa seats with your children without hesitation.

You can relax while waiting for your order to be served, so the waiting time will not be a bother.

Point 2: Rare egg omelet rice is also available! What kind of food menu does “Umi Cafe Urutama” have?

Umi Cafe Urumatama also offers a meal menu, although it is not very large in number.

A typical dish is the omelet rice topped with a thick Domigas sauce made from “Kugani Eggs,” a brand-name egg from Uruma City! The restaurant proudly claims that it is a specialty of the restaurant.

The omelet rice (850~900 yen) is also available in original and Western style. The original is almost the same as a regular omelette rice, but the Western style has a richer butter flavor. The butter and Domi-glace sauce go well together, making this omelet rice memorable!

The land special is an omelet that is made with the delicious taste of eggs.

Other items include the “Bikkuri Kutsuyaki Egg Toast” (950 yen), a sandwich with a super-thick egg that is also stuck with an egg, allowing you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the egg. The fluffy texture of the egg is also addictive.

During lunchtime, the restaurant also offers Agu Pork Burger Omelet Rice (1,350 yen), Uru-Tama Omelet Rice (950 yen), and Children’s Omelet Rice (450 yen) (all with soup and a drink set for 100 yen)!

Point 3: The exquisite rich gateau chocolat is also on the menu! What kind of café menu does Umi Cafe Urutama offer?

On the café menu at Umi Cafe Urutama, colorful cream sodas in clear, blue, green, blue, and purple are a common sight.

Many people seem to upload photos of their colorful sodas on SNS with the emerald green sea in the background, and as expected, orders are always coming in.

Also, there is a refreshing lemonade drink with Hamahika Island salt, which is a great menu item for a sweaty day.

There are also matcha and Hojicha lattes, and butterfly pea tea with an impressive blue color.

Also recommended are cakes such as gâteau Chocolat, cheesecake, and cherry pie, which are rather small but addictive in their richness!

The seating area and sofa space are separated, and the seating area offers a direct view of the ocean at Umi Cafe Urutama. The colorful drinks not only look good but also have their special characteristics and are delicious.

The food items also include thick grilled sandwiches using the local specialty “Kugani Egg” and omelet rice with domiglas sauce and a mild egg, making this a place that you will become addicted to once you visit.
