About 51 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This coffee and matcha café is located near Camp Courtney in Uruma City, central Okinawa Island. The stylish exterior and interior look as if it could be in Los Angeles. It is a wonderful Americanized store that serves not only coffee, but also matcha green tea, and coffee and mint lattes.

Point 1: Where is LYTE LLYCKA located?

LYTE LLYCKA is located in Uruma City in central Okinawa.

Uruma City is famous for its four outlying islands that can be reached by bridge, but this café is located a little further north than the bridge that crosses to the outlying islands of Uruma City, near Camp Courtney, a U.S. military base.

It has a stylish, resort-like appearance that looks as if it could have been in Los Angeles.

Because of its location, there are many foreign customers, and the owner says he even has regular customers teach him English conversation.

The menu includes not only specialty coffees and matcha, but also a variety of original and unique items. What kind of menu do they have? I am looking forward to seeing it.

Point 2: LYTE LLYCKA’s odd lattes are also fun!

What makes LYTE LLYCKA different from other cafes is that it not only offers regular menu items such as café latte, café mocha, and iced matcha, but it has also invented a three-layer drink (limited time only) with organic matcha (Nagasaki Sogicha) + Okinawan milk + organic bean paste, a “koreguse” (island chili pepper) + (island chili pepper) + espresso “Island Latte” and others.

You wouldn’t use something like this in a latte, would you? It is a fresh surprise to use such ingredients, and makes you want to try more and more different lattes.

The sweetness of the latte and the spiciness of the kollegoose are so addictive that some customers request for “more kollegoose!

The price is around 600~650 yen per cup, which is reasonable for the various ingredients!

Of course, if you simply want to enjoy coffee or matcha alone, don’t worry, there is a separate menu as well.

The matcha is carefully prepared using tea utensils, so it has a rich flavor.

Point 3: LYTE LLYCKA natural stone accessories are also a must-see!

LYTE LLYCKA also sells accessories made of natural stones.

The owner was shown Czech beads and started making them by hand in 2018. She was especially shown the abundance of motifs of flora and fauna!

He is also fascinated by natural stones, which take a tremendous amount of time to create, and the human imagination that cuts them out and combines different stones.

The unique and distinctive earrings, bracelets, and other accessories on display in the store, featuring motifs of flowers, fruits, animals, and even human faces, are elaborately designed and one-of-a-kind, so they are a must-see!

You can also find yachimun, Okinawan glasses, candles, and other items, so you can enjoy the fun of exploring a general store! Please visit us!
