About 24 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This curry specialty restaurant is located near Shuri Station in Naha City. Not only is the spiced curry delicious, but the appearance and interior design are also fully enjoyable. You will not be disappointed if you visit Shuri for this reason.

Point 1: What is the location of 咖喱遊?

咖喱遊戯” is located in Shuri, east of Naha City. It is about a four-minute walk from Shuri Station on the Yui Rail Line.
It is close to the ruins of Shuri Castle, and the area has a relaxing atmosphere that will make you feel at home.
The word “~~Yu-Gi” reminds me of the title of a 1970s action movie, as I have been to Hong Kong more than 20 times.
I wondered if the “Yu-Gi” in the name of the restaurant might be a reference to “Yu-Gi,” and it turned out that it was!
Let’s push the nunchuck-shaped doorknob and go inside!

Point 2: What is the exterior and interior of 咖喱遊戯?

咖喱遊戯” is a small restaurant with only five seats at the counter.

The exterior features white walls and an antique lamp.

There is no signboard, just a simple logo with “咖喱遊” written in Chinese characters. There is no Chinese flavor at all, but that is what makes it so pleasing to the eye.

Inside, the owner, a man from Iejima Island, is busy working alone.

Inside, there are many Bruce Lee motif goods and figures! I think many people who come here are interested in Bruce Lee in their own way, so everyone seems to be smitten.

Point 3: Introducing the all-important “咖喱遊戯” menu!

The key items on the menu at 咖喱遊戯 are Chicken Keema with shrimp broth (1,200 yen), Pork Ginger (1,200 yen), and 2-ingredient Curry (1,350 yen),

Anchovy Chicken (1,350 yen), Soy Milk Tangy Pork Ginger (1,350 yen), Curry with Two Crusts (1,400 yen),

The menu also includes mushroom mixed pork, almond chicken (both 1,400 yen), and two kinds of curry (1,450 yen), as well as Sri Lankan-style zabujis, pakoras, homemade pickles, and many other garnishes to create a colorful and visually pleasing spicy curry.

The spices, which are always a combination of two or more, are changed every two weeks. Conversely, you may never have the same curry twice, which is momentarily nice.

The West Indian “pork vindaloo” is also unique in that it is arranged with cartilage soki, just like in Okinawa! The price is reasonable, but it is very elaborate and filling!

In Okinawa, high-level curry specialty restaurants have been popping up one after another for the past few years, and it is fun to compare different types of curry.
