About 15 minutes drive from Naha Airport. This petit hotel is located near the historic Ishimon and Kajumaru trees. It is a special hotel with a total of 5 rooms, one room per floor, and all rooms are corner rooms! Located between Tomari and Miebashi in Naha City, it is not difficult to reach Kokusai-dori.

Point 1: What is the location of “Petit Suite Sungenji Ishimon”?

Petit Suite Sungenji Ishimon” is located in Tomari, Naha City, which is famous for its ferry service to the outlying islands. However, it is located quite far from the port, rather close to Omoromachi and Sakae-machi.

This is no ordinary hotel, but a total of five rooms, one on each floor, all corner rooms, so guests can feel like they are staying in a little suite.

Outside the window you can see the stone gate and a large banyan tree.

There is no front desk, so you have to check in by yourself, but it is more of a vacation rental than a hotel.

The stone gate seen from the window was once the site of a temple called “Sungen-ji” dedicated to the spirits of the Ryukyu royal family, and although the temple was lost in the war, the stone gate with its presence still stands today, radiating a nice atmosphere.

Point 2: What are the rooms like in “Petit Suite Sungenji Seokmon”?

All of the rooms in “Petit Suite Sungenji Ishimon” are 35 square meters in size.

Each room has a different concept, with names such as theater, dining room, retreat, library, and living room.

More like a cozy apartment than a hotel room, the rooms are equipped with beds, sofas, appliances, kitchenware, washer/dryer, and even portable speakers.

The concept here is to enjoy your stay without being bound by time.

I thought I had experienced this concept and interior design somewhere before, but it was produced by UDS, which is responsible for the Hotel Anteloum Naha and Hotel Strata Naha in Naha, and also operates hotels in Atami and other locations!

It’s not strange, but there is something surprising about it. People who like it will probably fall in love with it.

Point 3: What are the amenities of “Petit Suite Sungenji Seokmon”?

Petit Suite Chongyuan-ji Shimen” offers not only high-grade beds and smart TVs, but also a mix of analog and high-tech, including a view bath with a view of a banyan tree, an analog coffee maker with a DeLonghi kettle, a state-of-the-art massage chair, and Bluetooth smart speakers. The hotel has a mix of analog and high-tech.

Originally, the password was sent to you via email to unlock the door, which is said to be quite a challenge, but once you get past that, the rest of the room is a private, blissful experience.

Will we continue to be immersed in the same old sense of security forever, or will we continue to feel moderately stimulated, and take in new things?

That seems to be the test we are faced with, no matter what we do in the future.
