This hamburger store is located on the Makishi side of Kokusai Street, about 14 minutes by car from Naha Airport. In addition to regular hamburgers, the restaurant offers unusual menu items such as Agu burgers and Ishiyaki taco rice! The inside of the restaurant also has a fun retro American atmosphere.
Point 1: What is the location of “American Restaurant”?
America Shokudo” is located at the Makishi end of Kokusai Dori, near Cai On Bridge. It is a 14-minute drive from Naha Airport and conveniently located to Sakae-machi and Omoromachi.
Aren’t there only chain hamburger restaurants such as A&W on Kokusai-dori? Many people may have thought that there were only chain hamburger restaurants such as A&W on Kokusai-dori.
A&W is also not found on the mainland and is delicious, but there are those who would like to have a more authentic hamburger since they are in Okinawa.

The menu includes hamburgers with an American flavor, as well as Okinawan-style Agu pork burgers and unusual dishes such as stone-broiled taco rice.

America’s Diner offers a wide variety of menu items.
The menu can be broadly divided into burgers, tacos, taco-rice, side dishes such as fish and chips, beer, juice, and drinks such as colorful shakes and cream sodas that are sure to be instagram-worthy.
The burgers include the Classic Burger (1,188 yen including tax) made with island pork, the Okinawa Burger (1,298 yen) with bitter melon, the Tropical Burger with pineapple and avocado, and the Blue Cheese Burger (1,518 yen), which is a mature burger with blue cheese!
The “Tower Burger” (4,840 yen), which actually uses three burgers’ worth of buns and patties, is another highlight of the restaurant’s menu.
Each item on the menu is juicy and full of flavor. I am convinced that they are able to make these burgers because they have been eating authentic burgers since they were children.
Point 3: What is the Ishiyaki Taco Rice at “America’s Restaurant” like?
America Shokudo” has a menu item called “Ishiyaki Taco Rice” (1,180 yen). Even in Okinawa, it is nice to have warm rice, especially during the coming cold season.
There are many restaurants in Okinawa that serve tacos and taco rice, but not so many that serve “Ishiyaki Taco Rice”.
Taco rice is delicious as it is, but the Ishiyaki Taco Rice, which is grilled to a hot stone, has a slightly charred finish, and the cheese and vegetables are cooked just right, bringing out a previously unknown level of deliciousness.
