About 17 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This café is located in Tomigushiro City in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island. This is a rare café where you can eat “sliders,” mini burgers from the U.S., which are a sign of a trend. Other items such as meaty burgers and pasta are also available!

Point 1: What is the location of “TABETECO”?

TABETECO is located on the 5th floor of MEGA Don Quijote in Toyomigusuku City in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island.

When one thinks of Toyomigusuku City, “Outlet Mall Ashibinae” and “DMM Aquarium” come to mind, but MEGA Don Quijote is located a short distance away from them.

The cafe has a loft-like interior in a spacious and stylish space, with handmade wall art and a fashionable atmosphere!

The large windows overlook the city and give it a very open feeling.

Point 2: What is a “TABETECO” slider?

TABETECO’s specialty menu item is the ” slider” (440 yen per slider), which originated in the U.S. and is rarely found anywhere else. They seem to be gradually becoming popular in Japan as well.

Sliders” are mini hamburgers about seven centimeters in diameter that are dipped in sauce and eaten, and they are so small that they slide down the esophagus, hence the name “slider.

The name “sliders” comes from the fact that they are small enough to slide down the esophagus.

You can choose two sauces Terimayo, BBQ, and pickle.

The burgers are small, but the buns and patties are firm enough to fill you up!

Point 3: What is “TABETECO” potato cream?

TABETECO has another menu item that you may not be familiar with.

It is the “Potato Cream” (550 yen), which comes in two varieties: one with avocado basil sauce and the other with tomato sauce.

A side menu item for a hamburger is french fries, but this is a salad like a dipping sauce, with either avocado basil sauce or warm tomato sauce served on top of boiled, tender fries.

Since they are not deep-fried, you could say they are less sinful than French fries.

This is also from the U.S., and there is not much information yet, some parts of it are neither from the sea nor from the mountains, but it is fun to be one of the first to experience it before it explodes into a boom. Please give it a try.
