About a minute’s drive from Naha Airport. Located in a gaijin residence in Kitanakagusuku Village in the central part of Okinawa’s main island, this café has a cozy atmosphere and comfortable atmosphere. You can make reservations through E-PARK, so you don’t have to wait in line.

Point 1: How can I get to Ryukyo Sans Souci, a café in Kitanaka Gaijin Houses?

Ryukyo Ama Sansuji” is a café renovated from a gaijin residence in Kitanakagusuku Village in the central Okinawa main island.

The concept of the café is a collaboration between Ryukyu and Kyoto, and it is very popular for its food and desserts with a slight Kyoto flavor.

The scenic and verdant Kitanakagusuku Village, the cute one-story gaijin residence, and the cute interior that makes you want to take pictures, and most importantly, the delicious food, make it very crowded on the weekends. The interior is so cute and delicious that you can’t help but want to take pictures of it.

There is a parking lot for 18 cars, but it is crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so please share the lot with others.

It takes about 40 minutes from Naha Airport via either Okinawa Expressway or Route 58.

By bus, take the limousine bus on the Naha Airport Line from the Naha Airport Domestic Terminal to the Kishaba stop and walk 24 minutes, or take the Gusuku Megurin (West Route) minibus from the Kitanakagusuku Village Office (5 minutes walk) to the Parkside stop and walk 1 minute.

Point 2: Ryukyu✕Kyoto collaboration! Introducing the dining menu at Ryukyo Sans Souci!

Ryukyo Ama Sansu Sea” offers a menu of meals such as udon noodles,
Oyako-don (chicken and egg bowl), and Chirimen sansho gohan (rice topped with Chirimen sansho).

Among them, “Kyo Kitsune Udon” (700 yen) may be quite rare to find in Okinawa!

It is topped with a generous portion of fried bean curd from Kyo Tofu Fujino.

The “Kyo Kitsune Gasane” (800 yen), which comes with two pieces of fried bean curd, is also available!

This is a very rare place in Okinawa where not only tourists but also locals can relax by eating Kansai-style udon noodles with a slightly light flavor.

There is also “Curry Udon” with a good broth and plenty of sesame seeds, which has a reputation as an excellent dish.

There is also “Tsukimi Ikara Udon” (Tanuki Udon) with egg and Tenkasu on top (600 yen), and “Yanbaru Pork Meat Udon” (750 yen), a collaboration of Yanbaru pork and Kyoto green onions, and the udon is also available in mini sizes, which is great for children.

In terms of rice bowls, the Oyako-don (Oyako rice bowl) with Yanbaru pork, the “Goyon-don” with both chicken and pork (both 850 yen), the unique Kyoto-style “Yuba-no-Maki-don” (750 yen), and the “Kinugasa-don” (800 yen) with fried tofu, Tenkasu, and Kujo onions, are also rice bowls with a Kyoto feel.

Point 3: The brown sugar✕ matcha collaboration is fun! Introducing the dessert menu at Ryukyo Sans Souci

Ryukyo Ama Sansu Sushi” has a very rare collaboration of Ryukyu and Kyoto in its dessert menu.

The most popular are the Ryukyo Cream Anmitsu (500 yen), green tea and brown sugar jelly (400 yen), and green tea brown sugar roll (300 yen).

The cream Anmitsu, in particular, is a gem with matcha and brown sugar ice cream, jelly, Shiratama (white rice balls), and special brown sugar anko (bean paste)! Kyoto and Ryukyu are blended in the mouth, creating a nice, gentle sensation.

The various matcha, brown sugar, and Kinako parfaits (800 yen) are a combination of matcha and brown sugar, including ice cream, cake sponge, Shiratama (white bean curd), jelly, and anko (sweet bean paste).

There are also shaved ice desserts such as matcha green tea, Uji milk, and Uji cream Kintoki, so it is difficult to decide which one to have.

In such a case, there is no use in worrying about it, so it would be better to decide according to one’s mood or intuition at the time.

You can also make reservations at Epark.jp, and it seems to be relatively easy to get a reservation by phone if you make a reservation at 11:00 a.m.

The cafe is a collaboration of Kyoto and Okinawa, a cute one-story gaijin residence nestled in the greenery of Kitanakagusuku Village. Please come and visit.
