By bus, it may seem a little difficult to get there, but if you take Ryukyu Bus No. 83 from Naha Airport Domestic Terminal and get off at “Kainan”, you can reach the restaurant in 4 minutes on foot the rest of the way without having to change buses.
Even though it is a shish-kebab bar, it is open from 10:00 a.m., so you can go directly into the restaurant after arriving on the first plane in the morning.

There are many “Senbero” bars in Okinawa, but for first-timers, it may be difficult to choose the right one and to understand the system, making it difficult to try them.
There are about 30 Senbero bars on the Senbero Street behind the Makishi Public Market, and this one is called “Pop-up Shish-kebab Adachiya,” and is so famous and historic that it is considered a major player in the Naha Senbero world.
Although the appearance and atmosphere tend to be the first things that influence a Senbero debut, it is recommended that you first go to this historic establishment.
When you take a seat, ask the waiter, “Would you like Senbero? and the waiter will ask you if you would like a senbero.
This means one dish and three drinks. First, you choose one dish from the menu on the “Today’s Senbero” whiteboard, and three drinks from the huge beverage menu, except a few drinks such as habu sake.
If you want to add more drinks, you are given a beer crown.
Dishes start at 50 yen per item for both shish-kebabs and grilled skewers, and even the omakase assortment is 500 yen.
There are no Okinawan dishes, but there are also a la carte dishes such as grilled eel, grilled squid, and grilled mackerel for 600 yen at the most, which is very kind to the wallet.
If you know the system and prices in advance, you may find it easier to try the dishes.
Please give it a try on your next trip to Okinawa!
