About 33 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a set meal restaurant located in Yaese Town in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island. As is the case with other Okinawan eateries, you first buy a ticket from a ticket vending machine and place your order. The menu is large and the portions are amazing! This diner is supported by fans, mainly locals.

Point 1: Southern Okinawa Main Island! What is the location of “Yachimun Shokudo”?

Yachimun Restaurant is located in Yaese-cho, in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island.

Yaese-cho may not be familiar to some people, but it is located right in the middle of a peninsula in the southern part of the main island of Okinawa. It is located far from tourist attractions such as Himeyuri Tower, Peace Memorial Park, and Saiba Utaki, and is not an area that tourists would go out of their way to visit.

This restaurant has even appeared on a local gourmet TV show, so locals might go out of their way to visit.

From Naha Airport, it takes about 33 minutes via Routes 332 and 507.

By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 152 to “Kuniba” first, then take Okinawa Bus No. 34, which is a 4-minute walk from there, and get off at “Prefectural Yagihara Danchi Iriguchi”. It is a 4-minute walk to the restaurant.
