About 22 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This parlor is located in Tomigusuku City in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island. It is run by a couple and is a very stylish parlor. The menu is healthy and consists mainly of vegetables and fruits. Once you visit, you will want to come back again.

Point 1: What is the location of “parlour de jujumo”?

parlour de jujumo” is a very stylish parlor located in Tomigushiro City in the southern part of Okinawa Island.

It is run by a couple, who work as a parlor owner in the mornings and as musicians in the afternoons! Therefore, the store and menu are cute and POP, which seems to be popular among women.

It takes about 22 minutes by car from Naha Airport.

By bus, take Naha Bus No. 95 and get off at the “Ashibina-mae” stop, you can go there without changing buses, but it is an 18-minute walk.

The trip takes about 37 minutes, so I would say that access is fairly easy.

There is a tiled counter in front of the cute little hut, and a few other tables and chairs.

You will feel at ease as if you are having tea in a garden full of greenery.

Herbs and flowers from the garden are sometimes served with curry and bento boxes. It is a nice little feeling!

Point 2: Introduction of “parlour de jujumo”’s meal menu!

The best meal menu item at “parlour de jujumo” is the “Enzyme Brown Rice Vegetable Curry” (800 yen).

The brown rice-vegetable curry pictured in the photo is reputed to be very tasty, with a rich, concentrated umami flavor, even though it contains no meat. Is it partly because of the delicious local vegetables used? It is a taste that makes you realize you are eating something good for your body.

The more you chew the enzyme brown rice, the sweeter and tastier it becomes.

Also, the Vegetable Burger uses local Yaedake Bakery buns and sandwiches herb soy milk mayo, vegetable sauce, and seasonal vegetables. (Cream cheese can be changed to soy milk mayonnaise for 550 yen.)

Also recommended is the “Homemade Tuna Burger” (600 yen), made with homemade tuna, which begins with boiling the tuna, for a dynamic taste!

Point 3: What else is on the menu at “parlour de jujumo”?

At “parlour de jujumo,” drinks are also unique.

For example, the “Seekwasa Brown Sugar Squash” in the photo was made by soaking Seekwasa from the garden of the daughter’s friend’s grandfather in syrup.

By adding brown sugar, it became a fine squash!

The harmony of the sourness of the Seekwasa and the sweetness of the brown sugar makes it an irresistible dish.

We also recommend the “jujumo family herb tea” (450 yen), a tea based on lemon myrtle blended with herbs harvested in the garden at the time.

It uses fresh herbs with a strong aroma, so it is different from tea bags. This tea is served in a pot, so you can enjoy it to the fullest.

The sugarcane juice is unique in that the owner goes to the field across the street to pick it up after receiving your order, and then squeezes it through a squeezer to serve you.

This way of serving juice is unique to Okinawa!
