About 50 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a long-established drive-in restaurant located in Osato, Okinawa City, central Okinawa Island. Point 1: What is the location of “Koza Drive-In Restaurant”?

Koza Drive-in Restaurant is a retro Showa-era restaurant located in Osato, Okinawa City, central Okinawa Island.

There are many famous old-established retro restaurants in Okinawa, including Seaside Drive-in, but this one is not so well known, but it is no less deep.

While the exterior of the restaurant is retro, the interior, with its unique sense of small articles, will bring tears to your eyes.

Some of the knick-knacks are reminiscent of Hawaii, while others are reminiscent of the American colonial period, giving the restaurant a character that has seen Okinawa tossed about by the times.

Perhaps because of its location on a hill, the view is very scenic even during the daytime, with the ocean visible in the distance. The view at night is also different and beautiful.

It takes about 50 minutes from Naha Airport via Route 58 and 331.

By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 120 to “Miyagi” and transfer to Toyo Bus No. 31 to “Koza High School Mae”. It is a 6-minute walk to the restaurant.

Some set meals are priced over 1,000 yen, such as the most luxurious lobster set meal (2,500 yen), eel set meal (2,500 yen), and Yakiniku set meal (1,350 yen), but most set meals, including Nakami soup, sashimi set meal, and katsudon set meal, are priced around 880 yen.

Soups include goat soup, crab soup, chu-mi soup, and beef soup, and noodles include Okinawa soba, chilled Chuka, Tantanmen, and Tenzaru Chasoba.

The restaurant also offers A-C lunches (750-1,500 yen), as promised in Okinawan restaurants.

There are also light meals such as hamburgers, sandwiches, pizza, fried potatoes, and a wide variety of desserts such as apple pie, cheesecake, tiramisu, and ice cream.

All menu items are reasonably large and most are priced at less than 1,000 yen. Light meals and desserts are priced at 500 yen at the most, so feel free to order anything you like!

The knives and forks come out wrapped in paper napkins in a retro style.
