About 1 hour and 40 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This restaurant is located on a hill in Nakijin Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. Located on a hill, it has a great view and the ocean can be seen in the distance. It is a restaurant where everything is delicious and should be kept a secret if possible.

Point 1: What is the location of “Subakonijuppito Kitchen”?

Subakonijuppito Kitchen is a cute restaurant-cafe in an almost self-built container on a hill in Nakijin Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.

It was originally located in Kitanakagusuku Village but was relocated and opened in Nakijin Village, which was longed for.

It is a small restaurant with two tables and four counter-seats. There is also a terrace outside.

Since it is on a hill, the view is very nice and you can see the ocean in the distance. From the terrace seats, you can enjoy your meal while looking at the Nakijin blue sea!

You will be surprised that the restaurant is self-built using containers, and part of the exterior and the interior are set up with a warm feeling of warmth from the wood.

The hard feeling of the containers has returned to give them a more modern look, and the mismatch has a very nice effect.

The owner is a woman from Osaka, and she runs the business almost exclusively as a one-operator. Looking at her Instagram page, you can see her humorously struggling alone every day, which makes you smile.

It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway.

There are several bus routes, but the best route to save money and time is to take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP to “Nago Shiyakusho-mae”, transfer to Ryukyu Bus No. 66 at the bus stop located 2 minutes on foot, get off at “Kenetsugu”, and walk 13 minutes.

It still takes about 2.5 hours, but the sense of accomplishment when you get there is exceptional!

Point 2: Introduction of the recommended menu for “Subakoni Juffet Kitchen”!

Subakoni Juffito Kitchen does not have a set menu for lunch but offers all dishes a la carte.

For example, “Cold Pasta with Homemade Tuna Tomato Sauce,” “Cold Shiso Leaf Genovese,” “Homemade Yanbaru Pork Bacon and Spinach Pumpkin Cream,” “Genovese with Agu, Chomeiso and Basil,” “Homemade Yanbaru Pork Bacon and Island Vegetables Peperoncino,” etc., are very well prepared.

Using the best ingredients from Okinawa and Yanbaru, the bacon and other ingredients are made in-house, adding depth to the dishes.

Curry is also recommended, such as “Yanbaru Wakamori Chicken and Yushi Tofu Curry,” “Yanbaru Wakamori Chicken Butter Chicken Curry,” and “Yanbaru Wakamori Chicken Stroganoff!

We also recommend the hamburger steak made with Agu pork, which has a rich flavor and is very tasty and spreadable in the mouth. The accompanying salad also comes with umi budou (sea grapes)!

All dishes use Yanbaru ingredients to bring out the local flavor.

The dishes are simple, without excessive decoration, but they are very flavorful and have attracted many repeat customers.

Point 3: “Subakoni Juffito Kitchen” also has delicious desserts!

Subakoni Juffeet Kitchen also offers delicious homemade desserts.

The photo shows “Old Sake Pineapple Gateau Chocolat.” They make it by soaking semi-dried pineapples from Nakijin in old wine and mixing them into the dough.

The bitterness of the chocolat made by Valrhona of France, the sweetness of the pineapple, and the flavor of the old wine create a perfect harmony!

Other visually gorgeous desserts include the “Passion Pineapple Cassata,” made by soaking Yanbaru pineapples in old wine and kneading passion fruit and nuts into the dough, which is then chilled and hardened, and the “Berry and Nut Cassata.

Subagoni Jukkito Kitchen” in Nakijin Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island is a café-restaurant operated by a female owner in a self-built store in Nakijin Village, where many gourmet and fashionable restaurants are located.

The restaurant is gaining a reputation for its delicious pasta, hamburgers, sweets, and other dishes made with local ingredients, and is gaining more and more fans. Please come and visit us.
