Jun Player’s Me~Bar” is located in Ginten-gai, an area where unique restaurants gather, near Koza Crossroads in Okinawa City, central Okinawa Island.
In the area where all the unique stores are gathered, “Jun Player’s Me~Bar” opened in May 2024 in a renovated former snack bar, and will soon be one year old in 2025.
Jun is famous as a Uchina-geisha and won the O1 (Oh One) Grand Prix, a comedy contest, in the new year of 2025!
He also appears in advertisements inside the Yui Rail and is a well-known comedian to everyone in Okinawa.
He is also one of the members of the YouTube channel “Okinawa Channel.
At the end of 2023, I bumped into Jun and his group on Kokusai Dori and had a chance to talk with them, they seemed very friendly and quiet!
The bar where Jun opened is about 48 minutes from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 190, which also passes Kokusai-dori, and get off at “Koza” and walk for 2 minutes.
When they are not working, Jun players actually come to the bar and serve customers.
There are also live performances of Okinawan folk songs by the young staff.

The menu also features some unusual Uchina cuisine such as Okinawan tempura of fish and squid (650 yen each), fried gurukun (700 yen), and Sukugarasu tofu (600 yen).
All of the dishes are said to have been created by Jun himself, showing a different side of his love of food.
The alcoholic beverages include beer, highballs, sours, shochu, gin, vodka, cocktails, whiskey, awamori, and even a “Jun Player Special,” a habu sake that Jun himself caught.
