Approximately 1.5 hours from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway. On July 25, 2025, “Jungleia Okinawa” will finally open in northern Okinawa Island. With social media and websites buzzing daily and TV commercials running, it is now attracting attention not only in Japan but also in other countries, particularly in Asia. This time, we have compiled information about the restaurants at the much-anticipated “Jungleia Okinawa.”

Point 1: Where is Junglia Okinawa located?

On July 25, 2025, a large theme park called “Junglia” will open in Nakijin Village. This facility, which combines nature and adventure, will feature a lineup of authentic restaurants. Not only will you be able to relax your tired body, but you will also be able to enjoy menus that are both visually stunning and delicious, available only here.

In other words, dining within the park is also a major attraction!

While Junglia is located in the northern part of Okinawa Island, making it seem somewhat inaccessible, it is approximately 1.5 hours by car from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway. Taking National Route 58 adds about 30 minutes to the journey.

Additionally, traffic congestion is expected around the “Yuda” interchange after exiting the expressway, so caution is advised.

By bus, there are various routes available, including transferring between local buses or using a limousine bus, but it takes over three hours. However, we recommend using the “YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus” for the first part of the journey! Compared to local buses or limousine buses, it is over 1,000 yen cheaper.

The bus stop is first at “Nago City Hall” on the YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus, then a 2-minute walk to the Ryukyu Bus stop, where you take bus number 66 to “Yukawa,” followed by a 46-minute walk. It is advisable to charter a taxi in advance from the bus stop.

Regardless of the route, taking the Ryukyu Bus No. 66 to “Yuwakawa” and walking for 46 minutes is quite challenging, so traveling by bus alone is likely to be quite difficult.

Additionally, a bus called “Jungle Express” is scheduled to operate, allowing direct access from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Nago City Hall Bus Stop, Nago Fishing Port, Motobu Port, Naha City, Naha Airport, and Official Hotels (excluding some locations). (Reservations will begin on July 8.)

Point 2: Restaurant Overview – Enjoy resort-style gourmet cuisine with a choice of four styles

No reservations are required during the day, so you can drop in casually, which is nice. Indoor and terrace seating are free, but the nest seats (semi-private seats modeled after bird nests), which are popular on social media, are available for a fee. If you want to create special memories, we recommend using the nest seats. At night, reservations are required, and only a course meal is available. You’ll be surprised by the quality, which is unlike anything you’d expect to find in a theme park!

Junglia has four dining areas with different concepts.

Tropical Oasis: A sophisticated space brimming with resort vibes, offering tapas, pasta, and cocktails made with Okinawan ingredients.

Panorama Dining: Junglia’s main dining area, offering à la carte dishes during the day and eight types of course meals at night. The interior is luxurious, creating a truly extraordinary atmosphere. This restaurant features the nest-shaped seats (for a fee) that are often seen in commercials.

Food Cart: A wide variety of snack-style dishes that can be eaten quickly. Perfect for when you’re feeling a little hungry or want to eat while walking around.

Wild Banquet: A casual restaurant specializing in hearty burgers and rice dishes. Popular among families.

Point 3: What are the recommended dishes at each restaurant?

[1. Panorama Dining] ・Zaurusuff (dinosaur egg-style potato salad, 1,200 yen): A spherical potato salad finished to look like an egg in its shell, this dish is sure to impress in photos. The surprise of creamy potato oozing out from inside is also fun! ・Oasis Blue (1,500 yen): A vibrant turquoise blue dessert drink. The layers of mint aroma and cream create a refreshing look and taste. • Evening Course Menu (6,000 yen to 12,000 yen): Featuring Iejima beef, Motobu beef, Aguu pork, Yanbaru herb chicken, as well as vegan courses and creative French dishes using Okinawan ingredients, this menu offers eight special options perfect for a special evening. Using the Nest seats (paid; terrace and indoor seats are free) adds an extra touch of luxury.

【2. Food Cart】 • Shirokuma-mon (Island Tofu Mapo Bun, 650 yen): A fluffy bun filled with sweet and spicy mapo tofu-style filling. The texture of the island tofu adds a nice touch. ・Colorful Popcorn (700 yen): Colorful popcorn is popular with children. Flavors include Okinawan flavors such as strawberry and mango. ・Sunrise Drink (Orange Juice with Pineapple Topping) (500 yen): A visually striking drink. Perfect for hot days!

【3. Wild Banquet】 ・Beef Burger (2,200 yen): A satisfying burger with a thick patty and juicy bun. It is well-balanced with plenty of vegetables. ・Kids Box & Bone-Shaped Cream Puff (700 yen~): There are also plenty of menu items for children, such as the Kids Box (1,400 yen). The cream puff’s appearance will make you smile.

【4. Tropical Oasis】 ・Hibiscus Cocktail (2,000 yen): A vibrant cocktail that embodies Okinawa. Not too sweet and refreshing, it’s popular among women. ・Cold Taco-Style Pasta (2,000 yen): The spicy Okinawan spices and chewy pasta create a perfect balance. • Black Sugar Mojito (1,600 yen): A unique Okinawan combination of mint and black sugar. A sophisticated drink that enhances the resort atmosphere.

Please note that the menus introduced here are only a small selection. We are excited to discover what other menus are available!

At Jungleia Okinawa, scheduled to open on July 25, 2025, dining is also an adventure! The taste, visuals, and experience will all create unforgettable memories.
