About a 30-minute drive from Naha Airport. This organic cafe is located in Yomitan Village, central Okinawa Island. While Yomitan Village is home to many healthy cafes, this one has drawn attention because it’s run by Masato Nakamura of DREAMS COME TRUE. In addition to its healthy buffet, the cafe’s à la carte plates and bowls are also popular.
Point 1: Location of ‘Love Organic Birth Cafe’
Located in Yomitan Village in central Okinawa Island, Love Organic Birth Cafe is perfectly situated for a stop during sightseeing or a drive.
Surrounded by blue seas and lush greenery, Yomitan Village is an area where time flows leisurely, a popular spot for both tourists and locals.
At first glance, the cafe has a natural and stylish atmosphere, but upon closer look, it has a unique background: it’s run by Masato Nakamura of the music unit “DREAMS COME TRUE (DREAMS COME TRUE)”.
For fans, it’s a kind of “holy place,” a special space offering enjoyment through both music and food. The interior features a warm design centered around wood, with open seating and comfortable sofa seats perfect for unwinding and relieving travel fatigue.
Natural light streams in from outside, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout the cafe.
Point 2: Introducing the ‘Love Organic Birth Cafe’ Menu
The greatest appeal of Love Organic Birth Cafe lies in its body-friendly yet satisfying cuisine. While traveling, it’s easy to get carried away and overeat or indulge in rich dishes that leave you feeling sluggish. Here, however, you can enjoy the ideal meal: delicious yet healthy.
Particularly popular is the all-you-can-eat buffet featuring plant-based vegan and organic dishes. Priced affordably at ¥2,000 for adults and ¥900 for children, it showcases dishes made with Okinawan ingredients. The lineup includes healthy yet satisfying options like bitter melon stew, island tofu, gluten-free pasta, and soy milk miso soup.
While many associate vegan cuisine with bland flavors, this restaurant stands out for its robust, savory seasoning. With options like fried dishes and meat-and-potato-style dishes, it satisfies even hearty appetites.
The selection of sweets and drinks is also impressive. Original desserts like matcha pudding, rice flour waffles, and chai pudding are surprisingly delicious despite being made without animal products. The rice flour waffle topped with soy cream is especially popular with many customers.
Among the drinks, fruit smoothies made with raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries are popular, their refreshing taste leaving you feeling light after your meal.
Furthermore, the à la carte menu is extensive. Plate dishes like roasted vegetable curry, burritos, and quiche plates are vibrantly colored and priced around ¥1,500. Among the bowl dishes, the cold salad with moringa noodles, the “MY Salad Bowl” where you can choose your favorite toppings, and the Okinawan-inspired “Soy Taco Rice” are popular.
Salads are priced around ¥1,000, which is slightly higher, but they deliver quality and satisfaction to match.
Point 3: Recommended Menu Items at Love Organic Birth Cafe
Among the many dishes, I especially recommend the buffet and soy-based taco rice.
First, the buffet is the style that best lets you experience the charm of Love Organic Birth Cafe. Dishes generously featuring island vegetables are lined up one after another. No matter what you choose, it’s gentle on the body, yet surprisingly well-seasoned and satisfying. (Starting September 2025, it will only be available on weekends and holidays.)
The bitter melon stew has a perfect balance of bitterness and umami; paired with island tofu, it fully captures the essence of Okinawa. Furthermore, the gluten-free pasta offers a refreshingly chewy texture, while the soy milk miso soup’s gentle flavor soothes both mind and body.
One minor drawback is the small plate size, requiring multiple trips to the buffet. However, this could also be seen as a thoughtful design choice that encourages you to try a variety of dishes.
If trying a single dish, the “Soy Taco Rice” is recommended. This take on Okinawa’s famous taco rice uses soy meat instead of beef, resulting in a savory, juicy finish that’s satisfyingly hearty.
You can freely top it with your favorite vegetables, making it fun to customize your own version. It’s the perfect menu item for resetting a travel diet that tends to be unbalanced while still feeling thoroughly satisfied.
After your meal, be sure to try a dessert. The rice flour waffle topped with soy cream is especially delicious—its richness and sweetness defy expectations for a plant-based treat, leaving you wanting another.
Inside the shop, you’ll also find Dreams Come True (DCT) merchandise, collaboration awamori, and original coffee, making for special souvenirs. While the T-shirts (¥4,200) and cotton bags (¥2,500) are a bit pricey, they make irresistible keepsakes for DCT fans.
If you’re seeking “food that makes your body happy” during your travels, Yomitan Village’s “Love Organic Birth Cafe” is the perfect spot. Why not spend a moment here, where music and food merge, to nourish both your mind and body?
