The World Heritage Site Zakimi Castle Ruins and Yuntanzan Museum opened in 1975 as the Yomitan Village History and Folklore Museum and was renovated and reopened in 2018. It is located on the grounds of the World Heritage Site Zakimi Castle Ruins.
The museum exhibits the natural and cultural heritage of Zakimi Castle Ruins and Yomitan Village and displays dioramas of toadstools and turtle tombs.
