About 1-hour drive from Naha Airport. The hotel is located in Onna Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. It offers unique privileges such as a shuttle bus and in-vehicle check-in, and check-in is quick and easy to access. This is a large hotel where you can enjoy everything from hotel stays to activities, relaxation, and entertainment.
Point 1: Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay, anyway, cozy room rates!
Opened in April 1993, the Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay has 826 guest rooms and a capacity of 2,600, making it one of the largest hotels in Okinawa.
Although it has been open for nearly 30 years, the hotel’s popularity has not waned, thanks to the hotel’s tireless efforts to renovate, plan new accommodation plans and events, and so on.
The biggest attraction is the price.
Just as a large cruise ship is cheaper than a small ship, a large hotel can offer lower rates!
The rooms are over 30 square meters in size and have a bright tropical atmosphere and are so clean that it is hard to believe that they are more than 30 years old.
The rooms are over 30 square meters with a bright tropical atmosphere and are so clean that it is hard to believe they are over 30 years old. There is also entertainment, a hot spring with a sauna, and inexpensive relaxation services! There is also a direct bus service from the airport, and you can check in on the bus.
Point 2: Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay, breakfast room is amazing!
Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay has five restaurants, including Japanese and Okinawan cuisine, BBQ, Cantonese cuisine, and barbeque.
Among them, breakfast is available at the seaside restaurant “Chatan Bay” and the Japanese and Okinawan restaurant “Nanafuku.
Seaside Restaurant “Chatan Bay”, as its name suggests, overlooks the ocean and has recently been renovated to create a very bright atmosphere. Some meals can be enjoyed on the terrace where you can feel the sea breeze.
Nothing makes me feel happier than to be able to dine on the terrace in the morning!
The buffet consists mainly of Japanese and Western dishes, especially omelets with tomato sauce made to order at the egg station and a wide variety of fruits. Some reviewers were dissatisfied with the lack of Okinawan food at the buffet.
If you want to eat plenty of Okinawan food, you can go to the Japanese and Okinawan restaurants, but it seems that there is not much selection of Okinawan food at breakfast here either.
However, the Japanese dinner buffet has plenty of Okinawan food, so if you want to enjoy Okinawan food, you should go there.
Point 3: Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay Entertainment & Activities is also amazing!
At the Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay, you can watch Ryukyuan dance, Eisa, and island songs for free every day. It is quite a challenge to go all the way outside to watch entertainment, so it is nice to be able to watch it in the hotel for free!
There is also an open-air terrace izakaya “Shima Uta” next to the beach, where sanshin (Okinawan traditional three-stringed instrument) live performances are held nightly.
Since it is an izakaya, you can order inexpensively a la carte. There are also many kinds of Awamori. If you listen to the sound of Sanshin while the night breeze blows, the atmosphere will be enlivened, and you will feel that you have come to Okinawa.
The pool is available both indoors and outdoors, and while there are many places where you cannot swim in winter because the water temperature does not rise much even indoors, here at the Rizan Sea Park Hotel Chatan Bay, the water temperature and indoor temperature are carefully maintained to be just right, so you can enjoy the pool at a comfortable temperature even in winter.
I have to wonder if this hotel has a high reputation because of this kind of casual attention to detail. I can’t help but wonder. I am sure there are many repeaters.
