I stayed at the “Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Gino Wan” aka “Gino Puri” which is about 40 minutes drive from Naha Airport. This hotel just opened in April 2022 and is the first hotel in Okinawa!
If you are going to stay here anyway, this is the opportunity to stay on the “Club Floor,” so I will also introduce the various privileges of the Club Floor!
Point 1: Stylish rooms at “Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan”!

This time around, the “National Travel Assistance” had started and I was able to stay at a much lower price!
I made my reservation in the summer, so I was able to get a lower price. In my case, I made a reservation in the summer, so I was able to use the lower price.
There are 340 rooms in total, divided into Superior, Deluxe, Club, and Deluxe Club room categories. All of them have balconies and ocean views.
I stayed in a Club Room this time, and it was a nice room with a stylish, modern look.
The room was 33.6 square meters in size, with a bed measuring 120 x 206 cm (W120 x D206 cm), and had a sophisticated design that could have been placed in the heart of the city. It is not too simple but has a comfortable resort-like atmosphere.

The furnishings were tasteful and well-chosen. There was also a De’Longhi kettle!

The bathroom was also quite a high point, with dimmable soft light when relaxing, a rainforest shower overhead, and amenities made with sustainable Australian natural brands.
Point 2: Two infinity pools at “Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan”!

Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan has two infinity pools, one on the 2nd floor for general guests and one on the 14th floor for club floor guests.

On the second floor, there is not only an outdoor infinity pool, but also an indoor pool (verde pool), dry sauna, mist sauna, and bedrock bath, so I headed there first. Perhaps because the “National Travel Support” program had just started, the rooms were close to full, and many guests were already enjoying themselves in their swimsuits.
The indoor pool was occupied by parents and their children.
I didn’t want to show off my swimsuit in public, so I decided to go to the pool on the 13th floor, which is reserved for the club floor.

What a surprise, it was a private party with zero guests. It was raining lightly, but once in the water, it was the same. The only other saving grace was the warm Jacuzzi on the side. But swimming in the rain was also an unforgettable memory of Okinawa!

Still, this view is amazing! I vowed to come back here again and enjoy the emerald green ocean and magic hour if the weather had been clear. You can see a hotel under construction in the distance. The hotel scene in Ginowan is still changing rapidly.
As an Okinawan cab driver told me, the weather in Okinawa these days in autumn is not so constant, and it is rarely sunny all day long.
Point 3: Sneak into the club lounge of “Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan”!

I was lured by the wonderful sound of “Club Floor” and made a reservation, but what exactly are the benefits of the Club Floor?
First of all, you can check in exclusively at the Club Lounge on the 14th floor (check-in may be on the 1st floor during Corona peak season), have breakfast in the Club Room, and enjoy light meal service during tea time (7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.), cocktail hour (5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.) and bar time (7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.). Bar time (7:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M.) and light meal service are also available.
I visited during tea time and cocktail time.

I entered the Club Lounge, a relaxed adult space, with trepidation!

During tea time, we were served cute canulés, jelly, pudding colored like the Okinawan sea, and other sweets with coffee. In addition to the sweets that were almost too good to eat, the plates and cutlery were so cute that I often looked at them while taking pictures.
The large windows are supposed to offer a view of the Okinawan sunset, known as the “magic hour,” if the weather is clear, but unfortunately, it was raining lightly that day.

There was a bar counter at the end of the floor and the bartender approached us and made us Awamori and tropical fruit cocktails. It was very fruity and delicious! Of course, this was also free of charge!
The bartender was a seasoned veteran and seemed to be very familiar with how to treat guests. The female staff was also very kind. When I asked her how to get to Kitanakagusuku Village, she kindly took out her phone and showed me how to get there.
Unlike foreign-affiliated hotels, Japanese hotels do not have a separate and dry atmosphere, and their customer service is similar to that of Japanese inns, which is also an attraction!
