Approximately 19 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This cafe is located in the Omoromachi area of Naha City. The cafe is popular for its plate lunches and red potato cheesecake, and closes early until 6:00 p.m. because a different night parfait store opens in the evening. It is a great cafe with the strongest cosmetics and a parking lot even though it is located in Naha City.
Point 1: What is a “Minsa Cafe” lunch plate?
Omoromachi, Naha City. Minsa Cafe” is located on the second floor of an apartment building in Shin-Toshin.
The most popular dish here is the lunch plate.
Among them, the “Avocado Cheese Meat Roll Musume Plate” (1,500 yen), a meat roll rice ball that even includes a half-boiled egg, is very popular! It looks colorful and delicious.
Other dishes include the “Meat Roll Musume Plate” (1,100 yen) without cheese and avocado, and the Hot Sandwich Style Croque-Monsieur Plate (1,100 yen).
Those who order this lunch plate can add a dessert of terrine chocolat, white tiramisu, or crème brûlée for an additional 400 yen!
The red potato cheesecake, which looks and feels colorful as a stand-alone item, is also excellent.
However, both the lunch plate and dessert are limited in quantity and will be gone as soon as they are gone, so it is best to enter the restaurant as soon as it opens if possible.
Point 2: What else is on the menu at Minsa Cafe?
In addition to the above café menu, “Minsa Cafe” offers a bread menu and a drink menu.
The bread menu includes “Satsuki Tea Coppepan” (360 yen), which has “Satsuki Tea” tea made by Kondo Bread in Oita Prefecture kneaded into the dough, and “Triangular Cheese Bread” (330 yen) with mouthwatering cream cheese in between.
You can enjoy it in the store with coffee or other drinks, or take it out.
The “Satsukicha” coppepan, in particular, is an exquisite bread kneaded with a rare and flavorful satsukicha tea! This rare bread is only available here in Okinawa, so be sure to try it.
Point 3: The subs at “Minsa Cafe” are delightful!
Minsa Cafe” is offering a special deal called “Minsa Pass,” in which eight different drinks, including lattes, coffee, tea, juice, and vinegar, are available for 3,990 yen per month for a subscriber.
This means that you can drink 2 drinks a day for 3,990 yen, which is a very good deal since drinks normally cost 500~600 yen, which is equivalent to 2 drinks a day x 30 days = 30,000 yen.
This is a great deal, especially for those who work in the restaurant remotely.
However, even if you do not subscribe, if you have a second drink in the restaurant, it will be half price, so it will cost you (500 yen for the first drink + 250 yen for the second drink) x 30 = 22,500 yen, so you will still save money by subscribing.
Note, however, that smoothies, cocoa, and soda are not eligible among the drinks.
