You can see the differences between each kiln and pick up a piece of pottery, and take your time to taste and select the best one. If you are visiting Yachimun-no-sato for the first time or if you are nervous about entering each studio, this may be a good place to start. I wanted to buy something to commemorate my visit to Okinawa, but I had no idea what to buy, but I found my favorite yachimun because there were so many choices in colors, shapes and patterns. Whenever I put food on the yachimun, I feel like I am eating Okinawan food. I also feel that no matter what is in the food or how it tastes, it looks beautiful on the yachimun. You will enjoy a relaxing time while immersing yourself in a bit of nostalgia.
