is located in the middle of an underwater road that leads to a remote island off the coast of Uruma City in the central part of Okinawa&#8217;s main island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes only one hour to reach the beach from Naha Airport via National Route 331 and Prefectural Route 36, making it very accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name &#8220;Uminchu Road&#8221; is strange, but it was given to the beach because, in the old days when there were no bridges, people used to cross the sea on foot when the tide was low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Uminchu Road Beach&#8221;
