Yomitan Village is located close to Kadena Town where the Kadena Air Base is located and is indicated on the map only as &#8220;Torii Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may have thought it was just a regular beach, but you may have seen the vast area that includes the beach is shown in gray on the map, with nothing written on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Okinawa, in addition to the U.S. military bases you often hear about such as Kadena, Futenma, Henoko, etc., land along the beaches as &#8220;recreation areas&#8221; or &#8220;training grounds&#8221; is a military facility for the U.S. military and is not usually accessible to the general public.
